Federación Gestora de Festejos Populares announces updates for August Festivals

Fernando Jaén, President of the Federación Gestora de Festejos Populares, has announced several updates for the upcoming August Festivals. The organization aims to increase the scale and brilliance of the events through both organizational improvements and new public attractions.

Key highlights for the upcoming edition include the first festive mass to be held in July and the launch of Spain’s largest vertical mascletá, which will feature new lighting synchronized with the explosions. Additionally, the Charanga event on August 11 will expand its distribution to include 2,000 stuffed animals alongside its traditional distribution of balloons and snacks. The Flower Offering on August 14 is also expected to see increased participation from delegations from Alicante and Valencia.
