Federal Ammunition wins contract with Nordic Police

Federal Ammunition has been selected by the Nordic Police to supply duty and training ammunition. The contract covers the supply of up to 35 million rounds over a seven-year period.

The Nordic Police agencies, which include Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland, will utilize the 62-grain Tactical Bonded load for .223 Remington duty requirements. Additionally, the 5.56mm, 55-grain Disintegrator Jacketed Frangible was chosen as the reduced-hazard training ammunition.

Federal Ammunition is a brand of The Kinetic Group, owned by the Prague-based industrial group CSG. The company stated that the selection was based on technical superiority over numerous global suppliers.
