Judge Antonio Lucio Barbosa approved most of the measures requested by the MPF, including monitoring water supply, reinforcing FUNAI units, providing food baskets, prioritising hospital beds, transporting patients and repairing lightning‑rod systems. The MPF also proposed classifying the Maxakali as “hypervulnerable to contact,” subject to community consultation.
