Federal District boosts bus service for Planaltina wine fair and Ceilândia São João festival

Extra bus trips will be added on demand for the 6th National Grape and Wine Fair in Planaltina. The fair runs from Friday, 7 August, to 16 August at the Planaltina Exhibition Park, with main shows on 14‑16 August and an expected attendance of about 50 000 people. Bus operators may run additional vehicles on routes that pass the venue, especially along Avenida Independência, and passengers can check schedules through the DF no Ponto app.

A similar reinforcement will be provided for the Maior São João do Cerrado in Ceilândia. The festival also runs from 7 August to 16 August at four locations – Praça do Trabalhador, Praça da Bíblia, Praça da Estação do Metrô and Casa do Cantador. Operators have been instructed to adjust trips according to passenger demand, with special attention to the national‑level shows.
