Federal Fire Service overcomes water and fuel shortages
The Federal Fire Service (FFS) in Nigeria has announced that it has overcome previous operational hurdles, specifically addressing longstanding shortages of water and fuel that hindered emergency responses.
Controller-General Olumode Adeyemi stated in Abuja that the agency is working to rebuild public trust and ensure personnel are adequately equipped. He noted that the era of being unable to respond due to a lack of water or diesel has passed. As part of these efforts to improve morale and infrastructure, the service recently unveiled new quarter guards at its headquarters and the Wuse Area Command.
