Federal Highway Police requests 533 new vacancies

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) has requested the opening of a new selection process to fill 533 vacancies, including 269 positions for Federal Highway Police officers and 264 for administrative agents. The request has been submitted to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) to address significant staffing deficits following the expiration of the 2021 contest's validity in August 2026.

The progress of this new recruitment cycle depends on approval from the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI). While calls for new personnel are expected in 2026, there is a possibility that the announcement for police roles could be delayed until 2027 due to government guidelines and financial constraints.
