Brazil expands vocational training and educational opportunities

Various professional training and educational initiatives are being launched across Brazil. In São Paulo, the Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) has secured a building through a contract with Axia Energias to establish the Campus Jaçanã. Funded by the Novo PAC, the facility is expected to offer technical courses in Electrotechnics and Computer Networks by the second half of 2027.

Other educational developments include the IFSP opening applications for over 4,500 technical course vacancies across 38 campuses and a postgraduate specialization in Logistics and Operations at Campus Suzano. In Pará, the IFPA is offering 23 vacancies for a technical course in Agriculture. Additionally, the ADUFPB is hosting meetings to discuss Law No. 15.367/2026, which changes how leaders of federal educational institutions are chosen.

Local vocational programs are also expanding. Manaus is offering a free barbering workshop, while Bragança Paulista provides confectionery training. In Cotia, mobile units are offering courses in motorcycle and air conditioning maintenance. In Igarassu, a partnership with Sebrae focuses on entrepreneurial behavior, and Guarulhos is providing workshops in crafts and digital inclusion for women.
