IFSP holds strategic meetings and distributes 165 teaching vacancies
The Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) has announced two major institutional developments regarding management and staffing.
In Itapetininga, the institution held a series of strategic meetings from August 26 to 28. These sessions brought together various leadership groups, including the College of Directors (Coldir), administrative and educational deputy directors, and the Support Nucleus for People with Special Educational Needs (Napne). Discussions focused on institutional management, budgeting, selection processes, and educational policies. The meetings also included training on harassment to promote a more inclusive institutional environment.
Simultaneously, the IFSP has begun distributing 165 new teaching vacancy codes across its campuses for Basic, Technical, and Technological Education (EBTT) professors. This follows the receipt of 180 codes via Ministry of Education Ordinance No. 657/2026. The vacancies cover diverse fields such as Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Biology, and Arts. The institution will prioritize removal requests before calling candidates from existing public exams, with a new public selection process potentially scheduled for publication by October 2026.
