Federal judge strikes down Trump White House media ban

A federal judge has struck down a White House ban imposed by President Donald Trump on several media outlets, including CNN, MSNBC, and Politico. The decision follows the administration's attempt to restrict access to the White House based on news coverage. In a notable show of solidarity, Fox News also boycotted the White House in response to the bans.

In legal developments regarding the Nolan Wells case, a grand jury declined to file criminal charges following his death, ruling it a drowning. However, civil rights attorney Ben Crump announced that an autopsy revealed no fluid was found in Wells’ lungs. Additionally, the family’s investigators reported that the state withdrew from a previously agreed-upon joint investigation.
