George Akume appointed patron by Federal Parastatal CEOs

The Forum of CEOs of Federal Parastatals has appointed Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, as its patron. During a visit to Akume in Abuja, the forum pledged to mobilize 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Senator Akume urged the forum to communicate government reforms directly to the grassroots to counter disinformation regarding current economic policies. He emphasized the need to project the administration's achievements to prevent false narratives from suggesting that reforms are intended to impoverish citizens.
