Federal Police inspect Corinthians headquarters

The Brazilian Federal Police conducted an inspection at Parque São Jorge, the social headquarters of the Corinthians club, on Thursday. The operation was a routine check regarding the current security company providing services to the club.

Agents confirmed that the company is properly registered and that all documentation was in order, describing the visit as a ‘standard procedure’. The security firm inspected is not the same entity involved in a previous complaint by the Public Ministry of São Paulo against club president Osmar Stabile.

The Public Ministry had previously alleged qualified embezzlement regarding the hiring of private security for the president. In response to those allegations, Stabile stated that the security was not for him personally but due to his position, citing public threats against him and his family resulting from his presidency.
