Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro drives infrastructure upgrade, security forum participation and crime crackdown in Soledad, SL

Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz, mayor of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, inaugurated the renovated Avenida Camino a la Libertad with Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, creating a modern, illuminated road used daily by more than 100,000 residents.

In July, Navarro will attend the National Municipal Public Safety Conference chaired by Federal Security Secretary Omar García Harfuch, representing San Luis Potosí as the sole municipal delegate and reinforcing coordination between local, state and federal security agencies.

Separately, federal authorities seized a 30‑hectare property in Soledad after a tip about a stolen‑tires shipment. The operation recovered over 2,700 tires, 90 vehicles—including trucks, cars and heavy machinery—and several exotic animals such as two African lions, a Bengal tiger, a jaguar and a coyote. Three suspects were placed under preventive detention on charges of possession of stolen goods and organized crime.
