Federal University of Goiás announces upcoming campus events

The Federal University of Goiás (UFG) has announced two upcoming institutional events. The 3rd edition of the ‘Corra Campus UFG’ race is scheduled for October 27, 2026. This 5km run is exclusively for employees and collaborators of UFG and supporting institutions, with 300 available spots. Registration is free and must be completed by October 21 via the Sport Timer or Propessoas UFG websites. The event will take place at the Samambaia Campus, with the start set for 5:00 PM in front of the Rectory building.

Additionally, the university will host the final stage of the ‘Espaço das Profissões UFG 2026’ at the Aparecida Campus on the morning of Monday, October 19. This event is designed to introduce high school students to various undergraduate courses through interactive spaces, lectures, and presentations. This decentralized initiative aims to bring the university closer to students across the state, following previous editions held in Goiânia, Cidade de Goiás, and Cidade Ocidental.
