Federal University of Goiás conducts 2027 entrance exam

The Federal University of Goiás (UFG) is conducting its 2027 entrance examination (Vestibular), a selection process that accounts for approximately 50% of the institution's available spots. The exam involves 27,195 candidates participating simultaneously across 42 testing locations in cities including Goiânia, Aparecida de Goiânia, Cidade de Goiás, Cidade Ocidental, Uruaçu, Itumbiara, Rio Verde, and Porangatu.

The examination consists of 96 multiple-choice questions and an essay. The most sought-after courses based on registration numbers are Medicine, Psychology, and Law. Demographic data indicates that 64% of applicants are women and 72% of candidates are between the ages of 17 and 20.

To support the process, over 2,200 people are involved in managing the various testing sites. The university will also establish a reserve list to fill any remaining vacancies following the initial call for enrollments.
