Federal University of Sergipe Schedules In-Person Racial Quota Verification

The Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) announced that candidates for racial quota seats in the SISU 2026 selection process must attend an in‑person heteroidentification interview on 7 August 2026 at the campus’s Coordination of Competitions and Entrance Exams building. The procedure, overseen by the university’s Pro‑Rectory of Undergraduate Studies (Prograd/UFS), will assess only phenotypic traits, excluding ancestry, as stipulated by Resolution No. 61/2022/CONEPE. Results will be posted on the university’s admission portal by 10 August, and candidates may file appeals on 11–12 August. Failure to attend or refusal to participate will lead to disqualification from the quota seats. Participants must present themselves without makeup, glasses, head coverings or accessories, and minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
