Federação Paulista de Futebol holds preliminary meeting for 2027 tournament

The Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF) held a preliminary technical meeting to discuss innovations and regulations for the 2027 Campeonato Paulista. The virtual session included representatives from the 16 participating clubs, including players, technical staff, and executives from major teams such as Corinthians, Palmeiras, Santos, and São Paulo.

During the meeting, the FPF highlighted recent improvements implemented based on previous club feedback, such as the multiball system, monitors for substitute benches, standardized grass height, on-field warm-ups, and the presence of goalkeeper coaches in the reserve areas.

FPF Vice-President Mauro Silva emphasized that the active participation of clubs, athletes, and coaches is essential to the development of the competition. The suggestions gathered during this preliminary council will be reviewed by club presidents and discussed again during the official Technical Council scheduled for November.
