Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Environmental Fund closes calls due to high demand
The Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has temporarily closed two public calls, JP EE SS 2026 and JP EV 2026, after available funds were reserved in a record amount of time. The calls, which aim to support residential energy efficiency and the purchase of new electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, saw 2,385 users visit the platform shortly after reopening at 8:00 AM on October 30.
The high volume of simultaneous access caused slow loading speeds and error messages for some users, though the Fund stated that the database and reservation systems functioned correctly. The Fund clarified that reserving funds does not constitute automatic approval of support. All applications will be reviewed, and funds reserved for applications that fail to meet requirements will become available again.
If unspent funds remain after the Board of Directors processes the applications and makes decisions, the public calls may be reopened. For the JP EV 2026 call, the deadline for filing objections to user selection decisions is midnight on October 30, after which the system will allow for new applications.
