Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina extends tax‑free worker aid to 300 KM
The Economic‑Social Council for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina unanimously approved a proposal to continue the non‑taxable assistance to employees. The amendment, prepared by the Federal Ministry of Finance, allows employers to pay workers up to 300 KM per month without social security contributions until December 2026, or at the latest until January 31, 2027.
Council members said the measure supports both employees and employers amid rising living costs and business expenses, and reaffirmed a commitment to resolve joint interest issues through social dialogue and consensus.
The continuation is viewed as a key tool for stabilising the labour market and sustaining economic activity in the Federation.
