Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina raises pensions for 469,000 retirees

Effective 1 July 2026, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will implement a second annual pension adjustment, increasing payouts for all 469 000 pensioners in the entity. The raise is based on the already‑adjusted January amounts rather than the previous year’s figures. The lowest pension will climb from 666.76 KM to about 706 KM, while those with 40 or more years of service will see their pension rise from 842.44 KM to roughly 892 KM. For the first time, the average standalone pension will exceed 900 KM, up from 851.60 KM. Payments reflecting the July increase are scheduled for 5 August.
