Simone Annicchiarico disqualified from Grande Fratello Vip
Simone Annicchiarico has been disqualified from the ninth edition of the reality show Grande Fratello Vip following an incident in the kitchen. The contestant was caught on the web stream, Regia 2, uttering a profanity, which is strictly prohibited by the program's rules.
Annicchiarico appeared in the studio to express his regret, describing the moment as a “blackout” and a “synaptic void” that was neither intentional nor premeditated. He apologized to the public, his fellow contestants, and the show's producers, stating he felt he had set a bad example.
While host Ilary Blasi confirmed the production's decision to prevent his return to the house, some commentators and viewers have expressed support. Opinionist Selvaggia Lucarelli and others have advocated for a second chance, noting his positive contributions to the show prior to the incident. Reports also indicate that his contract may guarantee a specific compensation regardless of his continued participation in the competition.
