Federica Quijano transports son to Mexico City following health crisis

Federica Quijano, a member of the musical group Kabah, recently reported that her 19-year-old son, Sebastián, underwent a severe health crisis. Due to the intensity of the episode, Quijano had to urgently transport him from Mérida to Mexico City while he was sedated.

Sebastián, who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as a child, was accompanied during the transfer by Quijano’s partner, Vanessa Rodríguez. Members of Kabah, including Sergio O’ Farrill and René Ortiz, noted that while the crisis was significant, it did not appear to have put his life at risk and that he is currently doing well.

Quijano has previously shared details regarding Sebastián’s journey with autism, noting that behavioral changes became prominent following a fall when he was three years old. The family has previously sought specialized psychiatric care in Mexico City due to the complexity of his condition.
