Federico Bonazzoli rejected Cagliari move to stay near family
Federico Bonazzoli, the striker for Cremonese, revealed in an interview with Corriere della Sera that he rejected an offer from Cagliari to play in Serie A during the summer transfer window.
Bonazzoli explained that his decision was driven by a desire to remain close to his family and his roots. After traveling extensively across Italy for his career, he expressed a wish to spend more time with his parents, noting that he felt he had missed significant periods of their lives during his professional growth.
He also highlighted the influence of his parents, mentioning his mother’s work in a tobacco shop and his father’s role as a carpenter, noting that they instilled in him a strong sense of duty and humility.
