Federico Buffa to headline football-themed festivals in Italy

The “GOAL!” Festival is set to take place in Pisa, featuring a variety of events centered on football culture and history. The program includes a performance by storyteller Federico Buffa at Teatro Verdi, where he will recount Italy’s 1982 World Cup victory.

Scheduled activities at Stazione Leopolda and Cetilar Arena include a panel on the impact of new technologies in sports medicine, tours of the stadium featuring historical memorabilia from the Cento-Pisa1909 Football Museum, and sessions hosted by the Pisa Sporting Club Academy. Additionally, a discussion regarding the design and collection value of football jerseys is planned.

In Porto Sant’Elpidio, Federico Buffa will also perform “Italia Mundial,” accompanied by Alessandro Nidi. This event commemorates the tenth anniversary of the Paolo Passamonti Memorial, with proceeds supporting charitable initiatives in Ethiopia and Benin focused on education, water, food, and healthcare.
