Federico Chiesa faces potential January exit from Liverpool

Federico Chiesa faces an uncertain future at Liverpool, with reports suggesting the club may consider offers for the winger during the January transfer window. Since joining from Juventus in 2024, the 28-year-old has struggled to secure a regular starting position, a situation exacerbated by a muscle injury sustained at the start of the season.

Competition for places has increased following the arrival of Bradley Barcola. While teammates like captain Virgil van Dijk have praised Chiesa’s character and work ethic, analysts suggest that if a suitable bid arrives, Liverpool may be willing to sell to reduce their wage bill and make room for younger talent.

While a return to Serie A remains a possibility, Chiesa may be open to staying in the Premier League if another English club offers a more significant role. The club's decision will likely depend on whether they can find a buyer and how much regular playing time the player seeks to regain his form.
