Federico Dimarco to miss Real Madrid match amid contract talks

Inter Milan defender Federico Dimarco will miss the upcoming Champions League match against Real Madrid due to a precautionary decision by the club's medical staff. Dimarco is recovering from a minor left knee sprain sustained during a recent match against Napoli.

To avoid further injury, the club has opted for a conservative management strategy. Dimarco is also expected to miss the upcoming fixture against Udinese to ensure he is fully recovered for the match against Roma on September 19. Carlos Augusto is expected to cover the left flank in his absence.

Sporting director Dario Baccin met with Dimarco's agent, Arturo Canales, in Madrid to begin discussions regarding a significant contract extension.
