Federico Faggin launches Giurify AI legal platform with 2.5 million euro funding

Federico Faggin, the inventor of the first commercial microprocessor, has launched Giurify, a new artificial intelligence platform focused on legal consultancy. The startup has successfully raised 2.5 million euros, with approximately 500,000 euros coming directly from private investors.

In a recent lecture at LIUC – Università Cattaneo, Faggin discussed the societal implications of AI, emphasizing the need for education over mere instruction. He cautioned against treating AI as an oracle, urging individuals to maintain critical thinking and deep knowledge rather than simply transferring information. Faggin also touched upon the massive economic scale of the sector, noting that Silicon Valley companies have invested roughly 1 trillion dollars in AI within a single year.
