Federico Grossi wins Palio di Abbiategrasso in photo finish

Federico Grossi secured a victory at the 2026 Palio di San Pietro in Abbiategrasso, winning by a narrow photo finish. Riding the mare Cuore Magico from the Furato stable, Grossi executed a tactical maneuver in the final laps to overtake the leaders.

Grossi, who previously competed in Legnano, described the performance as a splendid race. He noted that the mare, which he has been preparing for two years, showed significant growth during the competition. The victory was achieved by a very slim margin after a highly competitive final lap.
