Federico Storani, former Minister of the Interior, received two major distinctions in Salta, Argentina. The National University of Salta (UNSa) awarded him the title of Doctor Honoris Causa via Resolution 040/2026.
The academic distinction recognizes Storani’s contributions to political philosophy, democracy, human rights, and public education. The university also highlighted his work as a professor and guest lecturer at international institutions, including Oxford and Harvard universities.
In addition to the academic honor, the provincial Chamber of Deputies also recognized Storani for his political and academic trajectory. His career includes leadership roles in the Argentine University Federation (FUA) between 1973 and 1975, as well as serving as a national deputy and Minister of the Interior during the administration of Fernando de la Rúa.
