Federico Trombotto returns to Poggi cabinet as minister

Federico Trombotto has requested a leave of absence from his position as a provincial senator to return to the cabinet of Governor Claudio Poggi. Trombotto will reassume the role of Minister of Sustainable Productive Development, a position he previously held from December 2023 until August 2026.

Trombotto’s brief tenure in the Senate, representing the San Martín department, was closely linked to the provincial government’s legislative strategy. His presence was critical for the officialist party to secure the two-thirds majority required to pass a project declaring the necessity of a partial reform of the provincial Constitution. Following the approval of this project, Trombotto is returning to the executive branch.

Juan Antonio Ríos, who had been leading the ministry in Trombotto’s absence, will return to his former role as Director of Industry.
