Federparchi and Alpine Rescue sign safety agreement

Federparchi and the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps (CNSAS) have signed a three-year agreement to enhance safety and emergency response within Italy's protected natural areas. The protocol aims to strengthen accident prevention, improve guide training, and ensure more effective rescue operations while respecting the environment.

Key initiatives include the evaluation of hiking trails, routes, and caves to identify risks and implement preventive measures. The agreement also focuses on training park guides in self-protection and emergency alert procedures. Additionally, rescue presence will be increased during peak visitor periods, and the use of the GeoResQ app will be promoted to improve visitor safety.
