FedEx and DHL announce major logistics investments in Brazil

Major logistics players are shifting their strategies in Brazil following FedEx's decision to cease regular domestic parcel services in early 2026. While FedEx is exiting the conventional domestic transport market, the company is investing R$ 75 million to expand its specialized infrastructure. This investment focuses on 34 new units, the expansion of two logistics centers, and services such as customs clearance, inventory management, and supply chain solutions for corporate clients.

Concurrently, DHL Express has announced a R$ 270 million investment program in Brazil through 2030. DHL aims to double the capacity of its Sao Paulo distribution center by 2028 and expand its retail footprint from 39 stores to 75. This expansion includes 17 new collection mini-centers to support small exporters and covers approximately 3,300 municipalities, representing about 90 percent of Brazil's GDP.
