Fedez and Selvaggia Lucarelli clash over cut jokes in ‘Roast in Peace’
Rapper Fedez and journalist Selvaggia Lucarelli have engaged in a social media dispute following the release of the second season of the Prime Video show ‘Roast in Peace’. Fedez revealed that several of his jokes were excluded from the final edit due to “editing requirements.”
Fedez shared the omitted clips on social media, including a joke directed at Jeff Bezos and another targeting Lucarelli. In the latter, he suggested future guests for the show should include Marco Cappato to discuss assisted dying, remarking that such an episode would be “already seen” because Lucarelli had already appeared.
Lucarelli responded on Instagram, dismissing the jokes as poorly written and confusing. She suggested the clips were likely cut because they failed to land effectively, rather than for technical reasons, stating that the laughter in the studio was “weak and embarrassed.”
