Fedez's newborn photo ignites social‑media debate in Italy
Italian rapper Fedez returned home on 23 July after a hospital stay for a gastrointestinal bleeding episode. He had been admitted to the Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Milan on 20 July, transferred to Humanitas on 21 July, and was discharged two days later.
On 5 August he shared a picture of his son Edoardo Lupo, born 18 July, being held by his partner Giulia Honegger. The image shows Giulia’s hands and legs and flesh‑coloured underwear, prompting users on social media to comment that she appeared without undergarments. Fedez chose not to respond to the criticism.
