Fedor Chalov reaches milestone in recovery for PAOK
PAOK forward Fedor Chalov has reached a significant milestone in his recovery following surgery for a torn meniscus. After eight weeks of rehabilitation, the 28-year-old Russian attacker has officially stopped using crutches.
Chalov, who sustained the injury during a friendly match against Beveren, stated that he is entering the most intensive phase of his recovery. His upcoming goals include restoring muscle mass in his operated leg, managing swelling, and performing mobility and stretching exercises. He also noted the psychological challenge of regaining confidence in his gait. If his recovery continues as planned, he intends to return to Greece soon to rejoin the team and prepare for his return to competitive play, which is estimated to be around October.
