FEEL collective formed to defend language training sector
Five language training specialists have launched FEEL, a new collective designed to represent the linguistic training sector in France. The initiative comes in response to the 2027 Finance Bill (PLF 2027), which threatens to impact language training through reforms to the Personal Training Account (CPF).
Because language skills are considered transversal competencies rather than specific trades, they risk being classified as non-priority training. Under the proposed reforms, such training could face increased participation costs. FEEL aims to advocate for the entire sector—including training organizations, certifiers, and independent professionals—before public authorities, social partners, and institutions.
The collective intends to complement existing groups and build upon previous efforts to combat fraud within the CPF system, which has previously damaged the sector's reputation.
