FEF Risan opens fifth edition of ethnological film festival

The fifth edition of the Ethnological Film Festival (FEF Risan) has opened in Montenegro, featuring ten documentary works from various international authors. The festival focuses on themes of family, memory, and heritage, exploring the values and customs passed down through generations.

Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović officially opened the event, emphasizing the importance of preserving family stories to maintain the nation's collective memory. The program includes films, lectures, and discussions aimed at examining the experiences and traditions that define individuals and their lineages.
