Feijó, Acre launches free collective wedding for 100 couples

The civil registry in Feijó, Acre, opened registrations on 4 August for a free collective wedding organized by the Tribunal de Justiça do Acre (TJAC) under the Projeto Cidadão program. Couples can sign up until 21 August at the Cartório de Registro Civil on Avenida Plácido de Castro; the ceremony is scheduled for 28 August at 10 a.m. in the sports court of Escola Estadual José Gurgel Rabelo.

All civil‑marriage costs, including certificates, are covered by the TJAC. The event is part of a broader set of free public services offered in Feijó, such as issuance of national identity cards, CPF, second‑copy birth and marriage certificates, legal advice, social‑program registration updates, land‑regularization assistance and rural credit.
