FEINDEF 2027 expands with 746 companies confirmed for Madrid defense fair

The fifth edition of the International Defense and Security Fair of Spain (FEINDEF) is set to take place from May 18 to 20, 2027, at IFEMA in Madrid. The event is projected to grow by approximately 46% compared to the previous edition, covering over 89,000 square meters of exhibition space, with 94% of the area already reserved.

More than 746 companies have confirmed their participation, representing a 19% increase in exhibitors. The international presence is significant, with over 250 foreign companies—accounting for 33% of the total—and 14 international pavilions planned. Approximately 37% of the registered exhibitors will be participating for the first time.

In a separate regional development, industry leaders in Galicia are focusing on the challenges of exporting sensitive defense technology. With the Spanish defense industry exporting between 60% and 70% of its production, efforts are being made to support small and medium-sized enterprises in navigating international trade regulations to foster economic growth and high-value employment.
