Feira de Santana condominium fines resident for sexual harassment

The Ecoville Condominium in Feira de Santana has imposed a fine equivalent to ten times the monthly condominium fee on a resident accused of sexual harassment. The individual was reportedly caught observing a neighbor through her window while masturbating.

During an assembly held on Wednesday night, residents voted to approve the fine in accordance with the condominium's internal regulations. Additionally, the assembly approved measures for the legal department to initiate proceedings for the potential removal or expulsion of the resident from the premises.

The condominium issued a statement repudiating conduct that violates the privacy, dignity, and security of its residents. The administration noted that these measures aim to preserve safety and respectful coexistence, without prejudice to any criminal or civil actions that may be taken by competent authorities.
