Feira de Santana issues cultural and sports incentive certificates

On Friday, 17 July 2026, the Municipal Secretariat of Culture, Sports and Leisure in Feira de Santana handed out Incentive Certificates to approved projects under the Pró‑Cultura/Esporte 2026 program. The certificates, issued after the program’s final analysis and council endorsement, enable project proponents to seek private company sponsorship through the municipal tax‑incentive mechanism. Municipal Secretary Cristiano Lôbo said the documents mark a new phase, allowing beneficiaries to present proposals to companies and secure the resources needed for implementation, thereby strengthening local culture and sport.

The program is a key municipal tool that lets businesses allocate a portion of municipal taxes to fund pre‑approved cultural and sporting initiatives, expanding access to artistic production, athletic training, heritage preservation, and community activities.
