2026 Elections: Polling results and voter guidelines released

As the 2026 elections approach on October 4, various polling data and logistical guidelines have been released across Brazil and Paraguay.

In Paraná, Sergio Moro leads the gubernatorial race with 36% in the first round, while Sandro Alex follows with 28%. A second-round simulation shows a technical tie between Moro (41%) and Alex (39%).

In Mato Grosso, Otaviano Pivetta leads the gubernatorial race with 46.4%, followed by Wellington Fagundes at 27.1%. In the Senate race, Mauro Mendes holds a 54.9% preference.

In Alagoas, JHC leads both the gubernatorial race with 48.6% and the Senate race with 45.6%. Meanwhile, in Paraguay, opposition leaders are intensifying strategies in the Central and Alto Paraná departments, which represent over 1.9 million voters.

Logistical guidance from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) reminds voters that mobile phones are prohibited in voting booths and recommends bringing paper notes with candidate numbers to ensure speed and secrecy.
