Feira de Santana school under investigation for sexual violence allegations

The Civil Police of Bahia have launched an investigation into allegations of sexual violence advocacy at Colégio Anísio Teixeira in Feira de Santana. Reports suggest that during a school prank, students wore masks of convicted violent offenders and allegedly made shocking comments regarding sexual violence.

Further allegations involve the creation of a list targeting female students with derogatory classifications. While the school administration contests the existence of such a document, they have confirmed that four students have been suspended. The institution stated it is providing psychological support to the affected students and implementing awareness campaigns regarding violence against women.

Parents and family members have expressed significant concern regarding the incident and the clarity of communication from the school. The investigation is being handled by the Delegacia para o Adolescente Infrator (DAI) to determine the exact circumstances and the nature of the reported conduct.
