Feitiansuye DOO assets to be auctioned in Perlez

A public bailiff has ordered the sale of assets belonging to the Chinese recycling company Feitiansuye DOO in Perlez, Serbia. The property, which includes both legally and illegally constructed buildings and land, is valued at approximately 34.7 million dinars.

The first electronic public auction is scheduled for October 2 via the eaukcija.sud.rs portal. The property cannot be sold for less than 70 percent of its appraised value. The sale follows a period of significant local opposition, with residents and associations in Perlez organizing protests and petitions. Locals claimed the plastic recycling plant contaminated the air, water, and irrigation canals, and threatened the village's water pumping station.

In 2024, the environmental protection inspection of Zrenjanin issued a temporary ban on the factory's operations. Additionally, according to the National Bank of Serbia, the company's accounts have been blocked since 2025, with a current debt of 32.9 million dinars.
