Fejes Dániel and Csikós Zsóka win gold in Poznan

Hungarian athletes secured two gold medals at the Canoe Sprint World Championships in Poznan.

In the men's canoe single 1000m event, Dániel Fejes achieved a historic victory. After a fierce battle in the final meters, Fejes finished in a dead heat with the defending Olympic champion, Martin Fuksa. The official results confirmed Fejes as a world champion, marking the first Hungarian victory in this Olympic discipline since Attila Vajda in 2013.

In the women's kayak single 1000m, Zsóka Csikós successfully defended her title. Csikós maintained a dominant lead throughout the race to secure her second consecutive world championship gold, following her previous win in Milan.
