Felanitx celebrates Sant Agustí festival

The town of Felanitx is celebrating its Sant Agustí festival, a major local event featuring a diverse program of music, art, sports, and traditional customs. The festivities include the ‘Nitx de l’Art’ art exhibitions, golf competitions, classic car rallies, and various concerts featuring artists such as M-Clan and Celtas Cortos.

Key traditional elements include the ‘Cavallets’ dances and parades involving giants and demons. The celebration also features religious services at the Convent, night markets, and community gatherings. Local festival leader Catalina Soler described the day as the ‘soul of our town,’ noting the high level of community participation and civic behavior during the cultural and sporting activities.
