Feleacu Municipality to expand drinking water network in Vâlcele

The Cluj County Council has issued the necessary construction permit to expand the drinking water network in Vâlcele, located in the Feleacu commune. The project involves extending the current network by approximately 7,000 meters, specifically targeting areas near the DC75 communal road and the DJ 103M county road.

This investment, valued at approximately 3.49 million lei, is funded by the Feleacu Municipality and is expected to take 12 months to complete. The expansion aims to provide high-quality drinking water, supplied by the Someș Water Company, to roughly 160 households that were not included in a previous 80-million-lei EU-funded project due to restrictive funding requirements. Currently, these households rely on their own local water sources.
