FELG Software dental system hit by cyberattack targeting millions of patient records

A cyberattack targeting FELG Dent, a software provider for approximately 16,000 dental practices, has potentially compromised the personal and medical data of millions of patients. The attackers, identifying themselves as the group ‘Horus’, claim to have accessed roughly 2.4 million patient records and 712,000 staff records.

The stolen information reportedly includes names, PESEL numbers, addresses, phone numbers, and medical documentation such as prescriptions, visit histories, e-ZLA (sick leave) records, and medical images. The attackers also claim to have access to eWUŚ verification data. To prove the breach, the group provided samples of data belonging to several well-known individuals.

FELG Software has confirmed the incident and is currently conducting a forensic analysis to determine the exact scope and volume of the data leak. The company stated it has identified the method of the breach and has notified the prosecutor's office. The attackers reportedly attempted to extort the company; having failed to receive a ransom, they have threatened to sell the database for 100,000 PLN.
