Felipe Baptista secured his third victory of the 2026 Stock Car Pro Series season during the sprint race in Santa Cruz do Sul. Driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross for Sterling Racing, Baptista utilized a strategic pit stop window to overtake pole-sitter César Ramos and maintain the lead until the checkered flag.

Julio Campos finished in second place driving a Chevrolet Tracker, benefiting from a similar extended track time strategy. Lucas Kohl earned his first career podium with a third-place finish.

In the qualifying sessions for the event, Felipe Fraga secured the pole position with a lap time of 1min18s220. Arthur Leist and Thiago Camilo rounded out the top three in the qualifying grid. Due to the sprint race's grid inversion rule, César Ramos was set to start from the front for the Saturday race.
