Felipe Boero Conservatory celebrates 60 years in Villa María

The Felipe Boero Provincial Conservatory of Music is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a series of artistic and educational activities. A central part of the festivities is the inaugural Guitar Week, running from October 20 to October 22, 2026.

The event serves as a regional gathering, involving the Gilardo Gilardi Conservatory from Bell Ville and the Carlos Giraudo Conservatory from Marcos Juárez. One of the highlights of the program is a large-scale acoustic encounter expected to bring together approximately 100 guitarists of various ages to perform a prepared repertoire.

Other scheduled activities include open rehearsals, specialized talks, and concerts. The anniversary celebrations, which began on April 1, have already featured performances by artists such as Guillena Felipe and Alexander Pavlica, as well as a presentation by Gabriel Ríos regarding his musical initiation method, ‘Dados y Dedos’.
