Felipe dos Santos Leite wins unprecedented equestrian title

Felipe dos Santos Leite, a 16-year-old equestrian from Campo Grande, secured an unprecedented title for Mato Grosso do Sul at the Brazilian Youth Show Jumping Championship. Competing in Indaiatuba, São Paulo, from September 9 to 13, Leite was part of the state team that won the Young Riders (JC) category featuring 1.20-meter obstacles.

In addition to the team victory, Leite achieved 5th place in the individual competition among 60 participants. His participation was supported by the 'Auxílio-Atleta' program from the Campo Grande City Hall, which helped cover high costs associated with national competitions, including registration, animal transport, and veterinary services.
